Mentorship Program
During the fall and winter months, we pair junior technicians or helpers with senior technicians for a few months as part of our ongoing mentorship program. The goal is to gradually give the junior team members more autonomy as they gain experience.
This approach has been a core part of our culture for years. It not only supports skill development but also fosters strong working relationships. Many of our senior technicians enjoy sharing their knowledge and take pride in helping the next generation grow.
Apprenticeship Program
Several Donnelly team members have advanced their careers through the Steamfitters Local 638 five-year Apprenticeship Program, which blends paid, hands-on field work with classroom training every other week. Held at a state-of-the-art facility, the program covers piping systems for HVACR, fire protection, and power generation, with a focus on modern, energy-efficient technologies.
The program prioritizes safety, diversity, and career readiness, offering certifications in welding, brazing, refrigeration, and rigging, helping apprentices build lasting careers in the mechanical trades.

Anthony Berrios
Maintenance Assessment Supervisor
A member of Donnelly Mechanical for over 10 years, Anthony has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence. Most recently, he served as a field supervisor for our stationary maintenance team, where his guidance contributed to improved operations.
In his new role, Anthony will oversee first-time maintenance assessments for new contract clients, evaluating mechanical systems, cataloging equipment, identifying needs, and delivering detailed reports to guide long-term system performance.
Anthony’s HVAC expertise and field experience make him well-suited for this critical function and a valued member of Donnelly Mechanical.
