This past Saturday, Korin Padel from Donnelly Mechanical’s Accounting Department delivered over 50 toys that were collected over the past few weeks from Donnelly employees. These toys were distributed at St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital in Bayside at their annual Breakfast with Santa event.
Children at St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital and Safe Horizon Bronx Child Advocacy Center received toys, arts and craft sets and more. The goal is to deliver a message of hope to less fortunate children so that they can experience the joy of the holiday season.
Korin has been volunteering at St. Mary’s for 3 years with her friends. “It is one of the greatest experiences. Seeing the smiles on all of the kids’ faces is an amazing feeling”. Hundreds of toys were distributed on Saturday. Santa and Members of the FDNY were there for fun, games and dancing with the children.

St. Mary’s children range in age from birth to 20 years old.
